ClearShield SA specialises in using the ClearShield Eco-System® – for the renovation, ‘non-stick’ protection and maintenance of glass – to upgrade ordinary, unprotected glass on-site. In this case, they initially treated 125m² of ordinary, unprotected balustrade glass on a new property, upgrading it to ClearShield Eco-Glass®.

Facing directly into the prevalent south-easterly wind, the original, unprotected glass in this home took a beating from aggressive salt spray carried by high winds. This resulted in an undesired sandblasted appearance, and quickly lost its clarity and shine.
