ClearShield Technologies is celebrating ClearShield® 35th Anniversary @GlassBuild 16, Las-Vegas, USA

Following on from a hugely successful Glasstec exhibition in Germany, the largest glass exhibition in the world, ClearShield Technologies, Ritec’s subsidiary in North America, is carrying on ClearShield® 35th Anniversary celebrations at GlassBuild America, the largest trade fair in the Americas.

ClearShield Technologies will be illustrating why after pioneering durable glass surface protection 35 years ago, Ritec’s ClearShield Eco-System™ for the renovation, ‘non-stick’ protection and maintenance of glass is still the safest and most effective technology available.

A host of new developments will also be presented, including a NEW and innovative 3-WAY Guarantee for Added-Value, Performance and Profit Improvement, a NEW Peace of Mind Pledge and a NEW improved range of application equipment.

Ritec was on top of the world in the Rhine Tower for ClearShield® 35th Anniversary

Ritec celebrated the 35th Anniversary of its unique and ground-breaking ClearShield® with a special event in Düsseldorf’s tallest building.

A private function was held in Düsseldorf unmissable attraction, the Rheinturm (Rhine Tower). 240.5 metre high, the telecommunications tower also houses a revolving restaurant, a bar and an observation deck.

A number of special guests were invited in addition to Ritec’s staff and international Marketing Partners to celebrate.

Ritec’s founders, Stephen and Karen Byers, were overwhelmed by the event, saying ‘We are very delighted to be surrounded by so many friends, and grateful to everyone for their huge support over the years.’

Read Anthony’s story and help him raise money to save lives

We are very proud to announce that our On-Site Supervisor Anthony Hawkes, who survived leukaemia 18 months ago, is now running the Tough Mudder London South event in September for Anthony Nolan.

Anthony Nolan is an incredible organisation that matches individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants. They save lives every day.

In Anthony Hawkes’s own words: ‘I’m running the Tough Mudder London South event on 25th September and want to raise money and awareness for Anthony Nolan. It’s very close to my heart as I was diagnosed with AML leukaemia and told that I needed a transplant. I then received a stem cell transplant 18 months ago and have been very lucky in my recovery. I’m not only wanting to achieve raising money, but also want to show that you can survive and get back to strength and hopefully give hope to people who are in the position I was in, feeling like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. If it wasn’t for the Anthony Nolan register I wouldn’t be here with my two little girls.’

With a wide product range available including decorative, showers, sandblasted and splashbacks, Swansea Glass Centre are now able to offer their customers the benefits of easy-clean, low maintenance glass protected by the ClearShield Eco-System™.
