Coastal Balustrade Glass Renovated and Protected Thanks to ClearShield Eco-System®!

ClearShield SA, Ritec International’s Official Marketing Partner for South Africa treated glass in Buffalo Bay on the country’s southern coast.

ClearShield SA specialises in using the ClearShield Eco-System® – for the renovation, ‘non-stick’ protection and maintenance of glass – to upgrade ordinary, unprotected glass on-site. In this case, they initially treated 125m2 of ordinary, unprotected balustrade glass on a new property, upgrading it to ClearShield Eco-Glass®.

Facing directly into the prevalent south-easterly wind, the original, unprotected glass in this home took a beating from aggressive salt spray carried by high winds. This resulted in an undesired sandblasted appearance, and quickly lost its clarity and shine.

The owners called ClearShield SA to treat the balustrade glass as a trial, prior to treating the many sliding doors and windows of this double storey home in paradise. The final results were amazing!

So thanks to the unique ClearShield Eco-System®, the treated glass looks as good as new. It will also resist future dirt and discolouration plus it will be easier to clean and keep clean. With so many benefits, specifying ClearShield® protection makes complete sense, particularly for glass situated in coastal areas.

With an excellent reputation for customer care, ClearShield SA will closely monitor the efficacy of the durable ClearShield® treatment in this very difficult environment.
