Earlier this year, Transparencia en Servicios – the official Marketing Partner of Ritec International Limited for Mexico – completed a number of glass renovation and protection projects in Bosques de las Lomas. This affluent residential neighbourhood and business centre is located in southwestern Mexico City and falls partly in Cuajimalpa borough and partly in Miguel Hidalgo borough.
Transparencia en Servicios specialise in the on-site application of the award-winning ClearShield Eco-System® to renovate and protect existing glass. The System is tried and tested over extended periods of time for all types of glass (new or old, exterior or interior) in all types of locations (urban, countryside, coastal) and in all types of environmental conditions (hot, cold, dry, humid, windy, sandy). Glass treated with the ClearShield Eco-System® becomes ClearShield Eco-Glass® that is ‘non-stick’ and easier to clean and keep clean. Because it resists staining and discolouration, the glass looks pristine for longer.
The types of projects Transparencia en Servicios completed include glass in private residences, balustrades and building façades. In all instances, the glass has been transformed to an ‘as-new’ appearance but without the financial expense and inconvenience associated with replacing glass. The newly-upgraded ClearShield Eco-Glass® will protect the glass from future staining and will be much easier to maintain; typically the frequency of cleaning is halved.
The results have left occupiers amazed with just what the ClearShield Eco-System® can do to transform dirty glass. The pristine glass helps to maintain a cleaner and safer image for the neighbourhood.

It gives Ritec International great pleasure to be awarded SafePQQ accreditation a year after its introduction by Alcumus SafeContractor, a leading third-party accreditation scheme.
SafePQQ is an extension of the SafeContractor health and safety contractor management system and provides organisations with greater visibility of their supply chain compliance. It is an online product built to include the common question sets defined within PAS91, a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire.
Only contractors with the SafeContractor accreditation are eligible for SafePQQ and submit their details once a year. SafePQQ collects and verifies information including financial data, environmental management, quality management, equality, modern slavery, anti-bribery and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The scheme gives businesses the confidence that they have the most up to date information on a company’s supply chain compliance, helping them make informed decisions on procurement choices.
For Ritec, being SafePQQ accredited means it can demonstrate that the company is a safe, ethical and sustainable one to work with through the SafePQQ verification badge.
Martin Burkett AIIRSM, Ritec’s Production Manager, says: “Being SafePQQ Verified means as a supplier, we share our values with customers. In conjunction with SafeContractor, SafePQQ aligns the Health and Safety module and other key elements of PAS91, a construction industry specification, and is recognised across all industries. This gives our existing and potential customers the utmost confidence in working with us.”
Ritec is already accredited or certified with many industry standard schemes, and SafePQQ is another demonstration of Ritec’s commitment to continuous improvement.
